Next Generation Youth Healing Video Series

TAPECODE 3011.00

The series features information, that is culturally relevant and family systems based, presented in numerous ways including drama, story-telling, role-playing, humour and documentary. All the videos feature First Nations people, both professional and amateur actors and actresses. It should be noted that the stories are fictional and do not represent specific individuals and/or families.
The Next Generation videos can serve two major purposes: healing and learning tools for First Nation youth and their families; and training tools for front line or community workers.
The videos included in the series: Our Journey Home (History As A Healer); Our Search For Self (Youth Exploring Family of Origin Issues); Our Vision of Healthy Families (Family Visioning for the Future); Our Celebration of Life (Healthy Young Adulthood in the Native Life Cycle).
