This half hour program provides an overview of early Native American life, before Columbus. In the beginning we see an early Northwest Coast legend (of how the sky came to be) acted out by Native American actors. Our host introduces us to the oral traditions of Indian people and goes on to tell through slides the differences and similarities in Native art, music and religion, before the time of Columbus. Part of the first nationally televised series to be entirely produced by Native Americans.
