Three performers, Holly Timpener, Mathew Moir and Tess Martens, pulled a 3-way rope in a game of tug-a-war at La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse. They had to attempt to communicate using the laptops’ keyboard in front of them if they could reach it! There was a chatbox projected onto the paper on the window of the live chat from typed words from the three performers. Tug-A-War is a reflection on the struggles of human beings during the pandemic; may it be the distance of loved ones, physical illness, impact on mental health and the endurance and patience of living through Covid-19.
