This tape was produced to educate the Canadian public about the conditions of farm work in Ontario. The tape presents views from farm workers, unionists, farmers, government representatives and community people explaining issues including health and safety, environmental concerns, legislative exclusion, problems specific to women and immigrants. Conditions and issues confronting farmworkers in specific agricultural industries (tobacco, tomato and mixed vegetable) are described through interviews and narration.
