Temps incertain

1993, 20:00 minutes, colour, sans parole, no dialogue

TAPECODE 9907

Temps incertain is composed of thirteen scenes of one to two minutes each. Each scene corresponds to a specific day and features audio and video recordings made on that day. These recordings include the images and sounds of weather conditions that are both natural occurences (lighting, rain, wind), and artificially produced events ( a burning building, the sound of jet aircraft, weather bulletins on the radio). Temps incertain evokes not only the unpredictability of the natural environment but also the uncertainty of the media conditioned subject interpreting that environment.
