New View, New Eyes

Kaspar Saxena

TAPECODE 058.01

The challenge was to create a visual poem about encountering a land never accurately seen nor imagined. While dealing with the incredible loss of what might be remembered, but never regained, my desire was to create an honest vision which challenges traditional misrepresentations of India. New View, New Eyes was shot on location in Bombay, Udaipur, Lucknow, Delhi and Toronto's Honest Ed's Dept. Store.
