In Our Own Backyard reveals the stories of several members of a Peace group that is using non-violent action in an effort to stop U.S. weapons testing in Canada. The Gandhian method they use extends into all aspects of their lives. The documentary offers a unique glimpse into the motivations and beliefs of a group of people who have organized to deal with a global problem at a personal and local level.
