H30 Symbole de la subdanse

1989, 14:30 minutes, colour, French

TAPECODE 9918

The video medium raises the public's awareness of subdancing, or subaquatic dancing. But how are these dancers able to stay underwater without breathing? What about the camera, the lighting, the sets and the directing? In this "making of" video, we are treated to the performances of the H30 dance troupe. Together with videomaker Yves Langlois, they produce the first subdance videos in Quebec.
