Cornucopia

1982, 10:00 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 123.09

An image constellation of peeing poodles, crescent moons and spilled cocktails is drawn about the device of a series of ceramic cornucopias. These horns of plenty are represented in the style of an archeological documentary studying fragments from the ruins of the 1984 Miss General Idea Pavillion. This commentary on the museum as a popular format considers aethetics as a form of hypnosis.
