Deux portraits, un même thème, celui de l'engagement, du don de soi. Des chorégraphies créées et interprétées par Blondell Cummings qui, par son jeu, ses mouvements et l'intégration d'objets du quotidien, exécute une danse qui tient également du théâtre. La narration, indissociable des mouvements, de même qu'une caméra qui semble faire partie de la performance tant elle en est le témoin privilégié, confèrent à ces deux portraits une réalité presque palpable et surtout, une profondeur chargée de sens et d'émotion.

Two variations on a theme: Blondell Cummings performs self-forgetfulness in two original choreographies. Ms. Cummings' performance, as well as the integration of everyday objects into the piece, results in a dance akin to theatre. The narrative, intimately linked with the movements, and the camera that appears to be an integral part of the performance, being its most privileged witness, endow these two portraits with an almost palpable reality and, above all, a meaningful and emotional profundity.
