A personal and a family crisis lead a man to drive across the country to his parents' home. His trip is inter-cut with imagined scenes from his parents' life. Remote Territories follows the man as he reaches a crisis point. Through road-side conversations with his unseen partner, the man struggles with his inability to communicate his feelings.
