No Me Olvides (Ne m'oublie pas)

1988, 13:00 minutes, colour, Spanish

Hauntingly powerful, this experimental tape documents a Santiago demonstration organized by "Mujeres por la Vida" (Women for Life) prior to the 1988 Chilean plebiscite. Carrying black cardboard figures - the shadows of those who "disappeared" during the military junta - the women's protest speaks of their anger and their desire for truth.
