Four men relate their recollections of the subject; a subject who shifts between fictional construction and personal confession. As their surroundings are revealed, our initial assumptions are frustrated, who is he anyway? A friend, lover, father, brother, son or perhaps even the storytellers themselves? The tape presents notions of masculinity and self-image on the way to a larger project: a dialogue among men about their own construction of difference.
