Air is a symbolic message of man's destruction of the earth and the human race. The human race is represented by a face on a TV screen. Through the video the image of the face deteriorates and at the end fades away. Man is at the controls and claims to be in control. But he has managed to destroy his environment. As more of the world becomes polluted there is less and less space for the human population. This is represented in the video by fences and a grate. The grate is a cage. The video image of a man seemingly standing, but confined to a suppressive space also represents man's growing confinement on earth. The images created show a toxic environment. The music is industrial in order to add to the human-less environment.
