TAPECODE 9300

This tape was originally produced for an installation which consisted of seventeen body prints (using anatomy and paint), a painted body suit, a packing crate and a twelve minute videotape. The main character is dressed in a painted body suit, crated into a box and shipped to an art gallery. She breaks free and proceeds to address the body prints by gestural postures. For the finale, she disappears leaving only the essence of herself via her artworks. The parallels and paradoxes created by the videotape explore thoughts on mortality of self and artworks.
