De la carte stellaire à la télégraphie sans fil, en passant par Stonehenge, Solstice propose un voyage dans lequel l'humain apparaît comme une créature à l'affût du moindre signal venu de l'extérieur. Débutant par l'image d'un dictionnaire ouvert à la lettre S, le vidéo dérive vers les étoiles d'une carte stellaire puis vers les images superposées de formes humaines s'agitant autour d'antennes de télécommunication. Afin de communiquer avec l'univers, l'homme a érigé des monuments comme le cercle de pierres de Stonehenge ou les stations de communication par onde hertziennes.
