Auld Lang Syne

1988, 08:45 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 9318

The videotape Auld Lang Syne (the continuation of Las Vegas) opposes the American dream and its reality. Using excerpts from the well-known song Auld Lang Syne and the movie South Pacific, the videomaker deconstructs their representation and conventions by juxtaposing his own story or his dreams and the portraits of his own friendships.
