Tainted is a documentary on Christopher Lefler, an art student at the University of Saskatchewan. During an art exhibit on AIDS, he presents a work that "outs" a provincial public figure causing a media frenzy. The University takes down the installation, Christopher is evicted from campus and his school loans are revoked. The facade of provincial and national academic authorities pseudo-humanism is exposed, revealing the insidious and rampant menace of censorship and homophobia in our institutions and the media.
