Secret Stories is an account of one of five workshops organized for children between twelve and seventeen by the International Centre of Films For Children and Young People in countries around the world. Young Inuit video maker Linda Tucktoo goes to the village of Lubugan, high in the mountains of the Philippines, where she helps a group of teenage girls learn video making. The workshop takes place during a violent election campaign. The intensity of the workshop and the political situation in the village, allows Linda to forge a close bond with the girls, and in particular with Lellan. The film is Linda and Lellen's journal of their experience and friendship.
