By the age of 13, Donna Gamble was a drug addict and prostitute living a hard life on the streets of Saskatoon, Regina and Edmonton. Still struggling with her addictions, this remarkable Aboriginal woman has left the streets and started a new life and in the process is trying to help others improve their lives. The film also chronicles the story of her mother and her daughters - one of whom is a prostitute and drug addict and the other determined to break the cycle.
