Rape Stories is the personal multi-layered account of the director's rape. The first telling filmed two weeks later is a recitation of facts and events. The second telling, ten years later, reveals the emotional texture of the experience and the reshaping of the event through memory. In the third telling, the narration, one can discern psychological pathways of recognition, struggle and integration of the experience over time... the recovery.
