The Story Of George

1989, 19:00 minutes, English

TAPECODE 3082

This is an excellent illustration of cross cultural communications and misunderstanding in the school environment. The film tells the story of the perceived problem between a native student, George, and his non-native teacher. The spirit of George's grandfather, played by Gordon Tootoosis engages the audience in discussion as we follow George through a typical school day. This interactive technique provides the stimulus for further classroom discussion and role acting.
