This is the second in a series of performances with individual trees in various seasons. With a McIntosh, is an interaction with an old McIntosh apple tree growing in the region of Ontario where the variety was first established in 1811. The visceral encounter with the tree came about through detailed bodily observations, intimate interactions and an intuitive exploration of the boundaries between two beings. It presents the storied life of a venerable tree and suggests a future through unopened flower buds continuing the cycle of life.
