Musette

1994, 04:00 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 9827

Musette records the social process of the artist's four month old son, Connor, who experiences his first Thanksgiving. Taped in interval (one second of video was recorded every fifteen seconds), the tape gives the feeling of time passing very quickly. The audio track is based around the word "musette" which means a small French bagpipe with a soft sound. It is also an instrumental composition (Musette in D) by J.S. Bach.
