Site Media is a creative presence in Canada’s documentary and short film community with a passion for making high quality films on art, culture and biography. Founded by Katherine Knight and David Craig in 2006, Site Media Inc. made an immediate impact with its first film Annie Pootoogook commissioned by Bravo Canada and Aboriginal Peoples Television Network. This was followed by a one-hour documentary, Pretend Not To See Me: The Art of Colette Urban (2009) funded by the Canada Council. In 2010 it completed Kinngait: Riding Light Into the World, for Bravo, Knowledge, TVOntario and APTN. Site Media recently completed KOOP about Canadian painter Wanda Koop, which was the opening film of the 2011 Reel Artists Film Festival in Toronto.
