David Frankovich was born in Toronto in 1985. He received a BFA in Film and Video from York University in 2007. His work has been exhibited by the Centre for Art Tapes, CONTACT Photography Festival, Eyelevel Gallery, FADO Performance Art Centre, Images Festival, KWT Contemporary, LIFT, Nuit Blanche, Pleasure Dome, Reel Asian, Toronto Urban Film Festival, Trinity Square Video and the Winnipeg Film Group.
