Born March 7, 1963 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Speaks English with some French. BA with distinction, The University of Alberta, 1985. Film Production workshop, New York University, New York, 1988. Entering MFA Time Arts Programme, SAIC, Fall '91. Professional writer and film/video artist. First film made in 1986. Special skills: experimental film/video techniques, photography, painting, performing poet and musician, vocalist, actor for film, television and theatre, historical interpretation and roleplaying. Awards: AMPIA Awards, Honorable Mention, Experimantal (1990/91) for TENOCHTITLAN and UNO ANIMO. TENOCHTITLAN purchased for the National Gallery of Canada permanent collection.
