Jackie Pelle studied Mass Communications and Film Studies at Carleton University. In 1996 she became a second camera assistant. She soon found she had a preference for documentaries. Jackie attended workshops in cinematography in Toronto and in Maine, USA and in 1999 joined Panavision Canada as a Camera Rental Technician. While working at Panavision, Jackie was able to shoot Spinsters. She is developing a documentary series exploring the truths and myths about Yoga.
