Alejandro Ronceria was born in Bogota, Columbia. He began his training as a dancer from a young age and performed with various dance companies. Presently an acclaimed choreographer, his works have been pjresented throughout Canada and internationally. He has also choreographed and directed film, video, and theatre, particularly working with aboriginal artists and communities. Active in the aboriginal artist community, much of his work explores the many aspects of the diverse aboriginal cultues of North, Central and South America.
