Will Stock is a Toronto-based Film artist with a BFA in film from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (2019). Currently working towards an MFA in documentary media from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). He is most recognized for his documentary film associated with the performative and cultural aspects of skateboarding. He commonly combines different imaging mediums including but not limited to: motion picture film, still photography film, digital video, and tape-based media. Drawing upon influences from the artistic inclinations of avant-garde and documentary films as well as the rich history of skateboarding films his distinct visual style has emerged as a compromise between these unique genres of filmmaking.
