Holly Timpener

Holly Timpener, M.A., is a queer, non-binary performance artist working in-depth with themes of queer resistance and transformation. Timpener has participated in various international residencies and festivals, such as Month of Performance Art Berlin (2013), Nuit Blanche Calgary (2014), and Nuit Blanche Toronto (2015). Their works have been showcased at The Art Gallery of Ontario (2014/2016) and Espacio Centro Gallery (2015). Timpener has collaborated with La Pocha Nosta at several events including Montréal Arts Interculturels (2017) and the Paseo Festival (2019).

They have also performed at RIPA Montréal (2018), the Rhubarb Festival (2018), Venice International Performance Art Week (2020), and the Drip Performance Festival in Liverpool (2020). Additional collaborations include FADO (2021) and the Lots of Love Festival (2021), with presentations at Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery (2022) and La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse (2022), as well as performances at A Score of Scores (2023) and Third Shift in Saint John (2023).
