Saroj Sharma Sapkota is a filmmaker, film educator, and festival programmer from Nepal. He serves as the Festival Director of the Pokhara International Film Festival. He worked as Head of Film Selection for the Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival for over ten years. He works for the short film selection team at TRIBECA. He has participated in notable film programs such as the Rotterdam Lab, Ekadeshma Film Lab, and TFL Next. He is active in the film society movement in Nepal. He strongly believes in the power of cinema to change society for better. Sapkota is known for his work in both fiction and nonfiction genres, focusing on diverse stories and cultural narratives.
