Peter Dudley was born in Toronto in 1956. He studied film and photography at Algonquin College in Ottawa and print journalism at Loyalist College in Belleville. He has worked as a commercial photographer, animation photographer, photojournalist, print journalist, film conservator, researcher, and documentary filmmaker. He is a two-time winner of an Ontario Community Newspapers Association Feature Writing Award and has been published in many newspapers, magazines and websites. Currently, he lives in Ottawa, Canada, where he freelances as a journalist.
