Donna Quince was born in Montréal in 1956. She studied theatre at John Abbott College in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Québec, and visual art at CEGEP de Hull, the University of Ottawa (Bachelor of Arts, Honours, 1979; Bachelor of Education, 1980), and Carleton University.  She also took a course in Television Production at Algonquin College in 1984.  Her film and video work has been exhibited in a variety of institutions and festivals in Canada, the United States, England, France and Australia. She currently lives in the National Capital Region of Ottawa and her work is primarily focused on street photography.
