Born in Hong Kong, Haymann Lau studied in the UK on an awarded UK/HK Scholarship in 1990. Returning to Hong Kong, she started a lingerie business aimed at new markets such as Russia. She also became involved in international telecommunications management. Fluent in Cantonese, English, French and other Chinese dialects, she has been involved in interpretation for foreign crew filming documentaries in Hong Kong, as well as translating for the Hong Kong International film Festival. As the Hong Kong representative of La Laverie Gallery in Paris, she has introduced talented young Asian photographers to Europe. 1997 In Search of the Dragon's Tale, documentary (producer/director/translator/production coordinator).
