Sharon Sliwinski is a professor at the University of Western Ontario, teaching in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies and the Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism. Although she now rarely works on the production side of video, she writes and teaches broadly at the intersection of politics and aesthetics. Her book Human Rights In Camera, will be published by the University of Chicago Press in 2011 and she is currently writing a book called Dream Matters: On the Social and Political Significance of Dream-life.
