Carolyn Kane
Born in Toronto, Carolyn is an Assistant Professor in the Film and Media Department at Hunter College (CUNY)––beginning August 2011. Carolyn completed her Ph.D. at New York University. She writes about digital media and aesthetics and her video work has been exhibited in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe. Carolyn also holds an M.A. in Media Studies (New School University, 2005) and a B.F.A. in New Media (Ryerson University, 2003). She is currently revising her dissertation on Synthetic Color into a
book manuscript.
