This article examines how Vancouver video artists and organizations engaged in collaborative efforts that challenged traditional means of art production and dissemination, went beyond the established order of museums and commercial galleries towards the creation of alternative networks, and the development of centers and spaces more conductive and supportive of the new art activities.
