Video's Body, Analog and Digital
Touch: Sensuous Theory and Multisensory Media, 2002, p. 147
Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 2002
This article investigates the different manifestations of video in the face of the digital revolution. The article centres on the questions: How does analog video perceive the world and use its body to communicate? How does this perception and communication change in digital video? and How do our own perceiving bodies respond to each medium? These questions are addressed and a comparison and evaluation of the differences and similarities between analog and digital video is explored.
