A review of Brakhage's film 'Dante Quartet' and its ties to Romanticism. Stan Brakhage is know for his experimental film style of painted frames. The film 'Dante Quartet' was inspired by Dante's 'Divine Comedy' (1306-21) and William Blake's 'Marriage of Heaven and Hell' (1790-93).
