Visual Communications, the 35 year old parent organization to the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Fest. is reinventing its image and approach in reaction to a new generation of filmmakers and video artists who produce and distribute their own works. Changes include: higher percentage of female writen and directed, queer-identified, and international independent work.
