Three introductions to the exhibition by curators Barbara Fischer, Anna Gronau and Lisa Steele. The artists included in the exhibition investigate the relationship between our sense of who we are and how we are represented, or how our identity is socially constructed. Their production is an archaeology of the construction of identity as it occurs within a particular social structure: the family, the home, the labour force, and the media.
