The article is about the series Asian New World, curated by Karen Henry and Paul Wong. Wong states that he's not interested in speaking to a white audience, and instead wants to express what Asian artists of the time have to offer to video. The show is split into four sections; "Identities", "Bitter Fruits" "Recent Past" and "Modern Myth and Ritual". The article gives a brief description of pieces from each catagory, and talks about up-and-coming artist from the show. The works deal largely with issues of race, Asian-American status, and Orientalism.
