Winsom: River of Life, 2000

Chatham: Thames Art Gallery, Chatham Cultural Centre, 2000

Jamaican-born artist, Winsom, immigrated to Canada, where her work displays an interest in landscape as a way to address questions of race, nation, citizenship and the exclusion of Black people from Canada's official narratives.
