Artists in their (liquid) element
The Gazette, Oct. 23, 1999, p. 36
A review of the La Centrale's exhibition. The focus of this article is Murielle Dupuis Larose's installation piece Ces Petits Noms. Larose's installation simulates a home kitchen where the viewer may watch yesterday’s news reports while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee. The audio element is created by hundreds of coffee cups hung from the ceiling outside the 'kitchen' that softly bump into one another.
