This article was part of the Praxis II lecture, presented in spoken text by Michael Balser. The larger story chronicles the history of alternative media work in AIDS in Ontario 1987-1992; this article in particular provides snapshots that merge the personal, professional and political life of Balser and his work with Andy Fabo. It refers to, among other works, a video compilation of footage shot by Balser whille he was co-ordinator of the AIDS Cable Project (Toronto Living With AIDS video series) called High Risk Safe Sex.
