Palestinian born British based artist Mona Hatoum talks about her video, installation, and performance work, which is "generally concerned with issues of political and social oppression in the relations between the 'Third World' and the West." Her piece Changing Parts, produced at Western Front, combines footage of her parent's apartment in Beirut and documentation of her performance work to explore an outer ordered reality and an inner chaotic reality.
