This article from a book describes David Clark's installation Screen Play; a work comprised of obsolete technologies and anachronistic images that establish an intertextual relationship between vernacular technologies and theoretical projections which encompasses a large space in the gallery it is presented in to promote mobile spectatorship. The work contains multiple screens fabricated from home movies, family snapshots and historic photographs of trains and imaginary as well as dialogues between domestic objects.
