The Globe and Mail, June 30, 1986

This newspaper article is one in a series on people involved in video in Canada. This article examines Peter Lynch, who has attempted to promote artist's video on television through his company Networks and later the foundation Video Culture International. Lynch's project Prime Time Video (with Renya Onasick) brought five artists to Saskatoon to do a three day shoot of their impressions of the city; the result was broadcast on CBC. His New Media Festival attracted 22,000 visitors to Toronto's Harbourfront Centre. Lynch has attracted major corporate sponsors to donate to his festivals and promote artist's video.
