After 21 years, the Images Festival remains an innovative and accessible venue for film, video and installation work in Toronto. The festival opened with G.B. Jones' The Lollipop Generation, a nostalgic look at underage hustlers in 90s Toronto. The festival also includes new work by video-artist Charles Atlas as well as an artist spotlight on Montreal based artist Nelson Henricks - whose work will be part of the retrospective program. Images also features very strong aboriginal and international work in the Sixth International Short Program.
